A formeremployee of Dave Ramsey has appealed his religious discriminationlawsuitand drawn support from the federal Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
In a March 20 amicus brief filed with the US Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, an EEOC attorney argued that the former employee, Brad Amos, did indeed allege a valid religiousdiscrimination claim, contrary to what a federal district court ruled in 2023. The EEOC is arguing thatAmos’ religious discrimination claim was improperly dismissed by the US District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee.
Amos had initially filed suit against prominent radio personality Ramsey and his company, Ramsey Solutions, in 2021, about a year after the plaintiff was terminated from a role editing videos for the company.
