Does BlackRock Own Ethereum?
Currently the ETF is for bitcoin and cash only. But Larry Fink has stated that he sees a case for a spot Ethereum ETF if approved by the SEC.
Since the short-term average is above the long-term average there is a general buy signal in the ETF giving a positive forecast for the stock. On further gains, the ETF will meet resistance from the short-term Moving Average at approximately $38.92.
In less than five months, the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has become the largest spot bitcoin ETF in the U.S. by assets under management (AUM), surpassing the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC).

However, some estimates can be made based on blockchain data and surveys of Bitcoin holders. According to data from Bitinfocharts, as of March 2023, there are approximately 827,000 addresses that hold 1 bitcoin or more, representing around 4.5% of all addresses on the Bitcoin network.
Satoshi Nakamoto owns the most bitcoin with an estimated 1.1 million BTC. Satoshi not only invented but was also the first miner to create blocks of transactions.
In its 13F-HR filing , the quantitative trading firm disclosed that as of March 31, 2024, it holds 17.27 million shares ($1.09 billion) in the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC).
